About Me

I’m a Dutch photographer born and raised in Amsterdam. I’ve trained in photography between 2007 till 2009 ,in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Starting mid 2009 I spent three years photographing in the music industry during which time I had a lot of my music photography published in the definite Amsterdam based music Magazine "3 minutes to midnight" . Aside from music photography, I've always expressed a keen interest in cinematic street photography, often working with very thin depths of field in combination with dramatic high-contrast monochrome as my signature.

From 2012 on, my photography focus shifted from the crowded streets of mayor cities to fashion & editorial photography. Putting a spin to a tried-and-true photographic genre by applying my cinematic street-photography know-how to create stunning imagery of models set against the backdrop of a major urban environment.
